wow they have come so far.... teh shadows went from hard, soft, hard, and now soft again. but still looks like the same console port as do all other games. maybe the next comparison should be "which is the best tv for your next cod game"?

this guide looks fishy to me. the image comparisons shows very little differences and the ram performance tests is backwards. way to create another half ass'd "hardware guide" gamespot.

this game is all about cpu speed. and right now if you want to get the absolute best out of the game right now with maxed AA and sliders with bloom on then you will need to get a dual core from intel that runs at 3.0 or higher and a mobo with the highest fsb (1333 i think). if you have the money get a quad thats at least 2.6 or higher (intel) as for video a single 8800GT will do for now but might not be enough when dx10 shaders are added. I'm running the game now with the best amd dual core I could find, stock is 3.0 and the L2 cache is 1mb, 4gigs DDR2, 9800GX2 and I noticed only an IQ difference between the cards, maybe 3-5fps. With the change from the 2.6 with 512mb L2 cache and the other cpu I gained 10-15fps in taratania and 20 or so outside. It helped with some stuttering as well.

It's a dam shame how Conan was advertised with Direct X10 but only works in DX9 during release and still one month later, there's also no SLI support, no quad core support... This game is so great and will be so much better once these major performance issues are taken care. As of right now you will get the same performance on a single 8800gt as you would get with a 9800GX2, a $450+ card vs a $175....... there's an issues with conan only using a percentage of our GPU. some say it's bad drivers from nvidia but how many other games out there decrease or stay the same in performance when you upgrade hardware?

also, Why not show some results of some amd x2 CPUs' running at 3gigz and up? it's already known conan has little to no support for quad core so can you please take out the quad core results and show how well the higher dual core AMD cpus do. My AMD 64 X2 5000+ BE 2.6 OC'd to 3.0 runs the game well on high, from your chart it looks as if amd processors run the game poorly.
