1. Integrated Network Adapter (Online Play).

2. Upgraded DVD Support (DVD-R/RW ~ DVD+R/RW support) - (Upgraded DVD Software).

3. Slim Design (Console is more durable and fits in most small places) - (It will be easier to move your console around the house or take it to a friends house)

4. Flip Top Design (The console works like the PS1, so you have to insert PS2 Games/DVD's in the top of the console).

1. No HDD Support (There is no place to attach a harddrive to the console) - (Sony has substituted that for the slim design).

u forgot about the disc read error of the old PS2 cos i use to get that alot with mine but now i have the Slim one i have not once ever got any problems like that, so it is a better lens
