It's legit data. It comes from popularity of the gamespace, articles, videos, etc. A lot of people come from search engines, searching for content related to those games which causes spikes.

This should be resolved now.

@foxrock66: are you running any addons that could potentially be messing with your cookies? The theme switcher is powered by your cookies. That could be the case. Also we're running some selective testing for our new homepage, you could be in that group if you're seeing a different layout.

This was dropped due to our site being responsive to your device. If you hit gamespot.com on your mobile browser, it represents what you would expect on a dedicated app.

Sorry, I was making some changes that may have messed with some other browsers for a quick second but a fix should be out and good to go now. If any of you are still experiencing anything, hit me up.

also, try updating the browser on your phone, the support for Opera Mini is terrible. It doesn't support handful of techniques we use on the site.

@Blabadon: Try clearing the cache from your phone, if it's still an issue. I'll check it out further.
