@mradovan @croxus I have a couple of games on origin (Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2, and Sims 2 since it was free) and only one on Uplay (FarCry 3). My Uplay decided to crash 2 hours into playing FC3, I logged back in and I had no games in my library, I received no support from Uplay. It took 2 evenings of searching how to fix the issue. I've had no issues with Origin, so I would pick the lesser of 2 evils. But that's just my experience.
@Stebsis @berserker66666 Surely sites need to say that no-one is getting review copies, because that creates more negative attitudes than a bad review or review embargo does.
There is a middle ground between AAA and indie, yet everyone seems to forget this. Smaller more cost effective games are what is needed. Besides the concepts of AAA and Indie need to be redefined.
Fare thee well feedbackula, may you ascend to Valhalla with sword in hand. Best show on gamespot, infact I might say this for all gamespot's shows when they end, as to make them feel welcome. Thanks for the fun.
Favorite show on gamespot. I suppose you can use various other examples of shadenfreude that we hear in everyday life, but we just ignore it or not pay attention. It is surprisingly common, mostly in smaller, less serious form, such as; someone falling over or a joke on their behalf. However there are much more serious issues, for instance, someone finding it amusing that a country is in an economic crisis or thousands or children starving. These people aren't evil, they only don't possess any attachment to those suffering, they are disconnected.
Fanboy is now a term being thrown around to anyone expressing an opinion or making a statement, that is either seen as one sided or showing imbalance between these products. Often we see 'fanboys' denying this status when attached to themselves and rationalizing opposing statements from anyone else as a product of being a fanboys. Or in the case of websites and companies such as Gamespot, during E3 the statement 'being paid off by Sony' was common.
