@pikafan1990: dont listen to the veggie dildo. It is a great machine and tearaway is amazing. Got a bundle for christmas as well, but made sure everything was working before I packed it back up and wrapped it up. That included playing tearaway for 20 mins (and what a delightful 20 mins it was).
@Ghost120x: It was already sold at a lower price, as to encourage people to buy a vita. Which I bought the bundle pack for christmas (comes with 16gb card and littlebigplanet vita)
@withe1982: Ni no kuni is considerable longer, may not be as innovative and puppeteer, but it is definitely better value for money.
I had a computer for 7 years that died on me back early November. It was a £350 purchase by upgraded the graphics card about 2 years after. Could play any game as long as its optimization wasn't terrible (e.g. ARMA 2). Could still play any game with minimum requirements higher than my spec. Bought a new PC for £600 and hopefully this will last me another 7 years :D. Some people just like maintaining the best of the best (or close to it), whereas others like me prefer the cheaper option of 'as long as it does the job'.
Had to decide on a 3DS of a PS Vita for christmas, despite 3 of my housemates having 3DS, I chose the Vita. Not cause one is better than the other, granted 3DS is doing much better currently, however its just out of personal preference of the style of the device and the games. I makes sense when you aren't into mario or zelda or post-2nd gen pokemon. Which I understand they are good games, just never appealed to me as much as the sony exclusives have done. One cannot deny that 3DS hardware in inferior however they have the presence of more popular games, in number also.
I can play many games on my PC despite being below the minimum requirements. Shogun 2 i could play quite well as long as the unit scale/Numbers were low on the big battles.
