@HalcyonScarlet: Well, I know you know that GT7 doesn't bother to force players to set tire pressure, and you dare to brag about it. But personally, I think that setting tire pressure in FM games is just a hassle and hinders the player's experience, which is why GT7 didn't dare to include it. I mean, I don't think such a trivial option can be considered next-level at all.

Having said that, I think when you look at the game as a whole, GT7's customization is a step ahead of FM games overall, with a great variety and depth of parts, designs and various parameters, over 60 tuning categories, and detailed visual settings, and I doubt the new Forza game will be able to catch up. But, again, I may or may not be wrong and we should wait for its release.

@HalcyonScarlet: Well, I know that FM games are also highly customizable. But I doubt that this time it will be able to match the depth of customization and tuning and the way they are reflected in the driving feel in GT7, which is pretty impressive.

Anyway, we will have to wait for the review, which I'm sure will be very interesting.

Probably a 7.

There will be some tweaks to match the hardware capabilities, but it will not be as substantial a leap as they hype. As mentioned before, several modes that existed in the past will be removed at launch, with not enough modes to make up for it.

I expect the AI to remain stupid, the customization to be nowhere near as deep as the competition, and the single player content to be lacking and uninspiring for many.

SEGA AM2. Still waiting for their new Virtua Fighter, Virtua Cop, Daytona USA and Afterburner games to arrive at my local arcade. I don't need any more Hatsune Miku games from them.

  1. FF16
  2. ToTK
  3. Armored Core 6
  4. SF6
  5. RE4 Remak

Looking forward to media reports on upcoming games such as Dragon's Dogma 2, RE4's PSVR2 mode, Tekken 8, Persona 3R, Like A Dragon: Gaiden, etc.

Too bad there is no FF7 Rebrith on this list, but Foamstars instead, haha. Oh well, they just released FF16 a few months ago, so I'll give them some time.

Excellent. FF16 is one of the best games I've played this year, along with TotK, and I'm so glad they're continuing to support it.

The team led by Yoshi P is known for being very responsive to players' needs, and FF14 was a success in that regard, and I hope they do the same for FF16.

As for additional content, many players, including myself, are looking forward to an epic battle with a certain Eikon, who for some reason appeared in the box art but not in the main game. I really hope they deliver on that.

There are also some great characters that fans would like to see told in the DLCs, personally I would like to see one focused on Joshua and the other on Jill. Either way, I'm really excited to see what stories they add.

Well, I think GS, who gave it a 7, and other major outlets like IGN, who also gave it a 7, and PC Gamer, who gave it a 75, gave it very fair reviews.

After all, the game borrows many interesting ideas from earlier games like No Man's Sky and is otherwise a typical Bethesda RPG: large but barren fields, uninspired art style, clunky combat, weak story, shallow RPG mechanics, etc. etc.

It seems that MS has managed to lift the initial aggregate score by providing review copies to a select group of Xbots fan sites, but I'm sure more and more impartial reviews will eventually emerge from other reviewers and gamers alike.

I also doubt it will even qualify for a GotY nomination at The Game Awards at the end of the year with so many better games out there.

Competitive fighting games should be judged not only by their sales, but also by the depth of their gameplay, their support and sustainability, the size of their community, and their popularity in e-sports. Taking all of these factors together, I believe the order is as follows:

  1. Street Fighter
  2. Tekken
  3. Smash
  4. MK
  5. Guilty Gear
