@mauroaugusto: It's like an old JRPG where the rest of the party exists on the same point in space as the main character and only come out during cutscenes. :P
I like what I'm hearing and I like what I'm seeing. The art style is colorful and it "pops". But after Beyond Earth fiasco, I have little faith in Firaxis to deliver a competent product upon release and post release. I'll wait and see after the first expansion drops.
I wonder if this is worth it if I already have the Gamecube version? Does it run better? Glad to see Link left-handed. That always bugged me about the Wii version... that and the motion controls.
Let's hope this one is actually finished you don't have to punch trees and rocks like every other unfinished, bog standard, imaginatively bankrupt survival games out there... >_>
@magnusstorm: uhh... I know. With this recent announcement for the first bits of DLC, I like what I see, which is why I'm buying now and the proposed price increase also played a role in my decision. Get it now for a good price and reap the rewards later. Maybe I wasn't clear before? As for the final $50 price tag, while true more DLC are coming beyond the initial three, it would've been nice to detail the rest of the DLC plan to justify the price increase beyond just taking their word for it. I'm not going to buy something sight unseen, which is why I held off on buying the pass until this announcement. Everything else beyond the first 3 DLC is just gravy as far as I'm concerned.
I intended to get the Season Pass at some point as I do enjoy the base game but I was holding out for an announcement for the DLC. I did not expect a price hike. Who in their right mind would buy a season pass for $50!? Better buy it now I guess, especially considering I can get it on GMG for around $23. That's a fair deal. ;)
