Wow some of those comments are disturbing. People working remotely still work. I had to go remote at the start of the pandemic (you know, because there was a virus going around killing people), and have been since. At no point have I had time off of any significance, furlough or any other kind of 'slacking off' that any of you might think of.

Numerous studies have shown that, if anything, there is an increase in productivity for people working from home (under competent management).

Forcing people back to offices is nearly always companies with big expensive buildings that they want to put people in to make use of them and/or simply watch them. . .because they (wrongly) think that staff being creeped on and watched magically work harder. They don't, sorry managers, those of us who have worked in an office have got 'looking busy' down to a fine art. That's what happens under incompetent management.

You will see no benefit from doing this. Happy people that feel respected work harder.

I hope the staff resign en masse, and R* are forced to backpedal. Idiotic management.

Starfield is an 8 out of 10 game at least. It's the ME trilogy crossed with Fallout, and a bit of hardspace ship breaker (builder) sprinkled on top.

Enemies are not bullet sponges (unless your level 2 and you pick a fight with a level 40 - why would you?)

Inventory management is annoying at first (it was annoying in Fallout 4 at first too).

The fast travel is optional, you do not have to use it, the 'jumping' to another planet makes perfect sense in an RPG (which you can do via the scanner). And is no different to the mass relays in mass effect.

This is not No Man's Sky, which is a survival game, and it was never meant to be.

I've put nearly 50 hours in and I have only just finished my fifth main mission, that's how many other things there are to do and be distracted by.

Although, the UI is not intuitive at all at times though and really needs some fine tuning asap, so I can see why some resort to fast travelling everywhere (or think that's the only way).

It's an excellent game.

@dirtydyk: Your comment sounds like you just want to take a swipe at issues that have nothing to do with this case.

The best he can hope for is being sent to a medical facility for treatment, he isn't just going to walk.

Claude and Catalina in Vice City before they get to Liberty City? I know it won't be. . . I don't have high hopes either way; it's going to be built around an online mode and microtransactions. That and, as the article says, you can't satirise an America that's already satirising itself.

Ah, the upgrade nobody wants and nobody asked for. If it is free via smart delivery then it might meet my Series X. . .one day, when I am super bored, maybe. Otherwise, no chance.

Way too little, way too late. Especially, as it is cleary a veiled way of trying to get people back in, and has a half-assed story line any of us could've written.

I was waiting for the physical edition(s) but after reading that I won't bother now. Even though SA is on gamepass I probably still won't bother - I'll stick with the happy memories, thanks.

I never thought I'd see the day where a R* game got less than an 8/10, let alone a 4/10 that seems to be very justified.

For shame, Rockstar, you used to be cool man.
