@isaacfalls: Yes, it does. I'm 2 hours into the game, taking my time to get the top rank in each side mission, just because I don't want to rush it (hur hur). This is the first game since NieR that felt so right...but GS gave NieR 6/10. Hmph.
@ishsgames: Agreed. Besides, not all Square games are made by the same people. XV was mostly handled by the guys behind Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom Hearts, so I have little worry that the new game will be anything but amazing. Duscae is an awful lot of fun and the character interactions are very nice. I like how one team member pulls you off to the side for bro friendship building sessions. It's going to be an epic ride, I'm guessing. And if the VII writer pulls another Aeris type plot twist, it will likely be equally devastating, being you'll know all these character so deeply by the game's end.
They should really start doing more PS4 exclusives for the PS Plus thing. It's not even worth consideration with this stuff. Not that they are bad games, but, come on. It's a PS4. Give PS4 content.
@mi_hung_lo: Have you never noticed all the spiritual successors or sequels to existing IPs? There's Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (Castlevania SotN). Then there's Mighty Number 9 (Megaman). Not gonna bother continuing...but Kojima's new game could easily be a Snatcher related game without being Snatcher. Right? Right.
