@sakaixx: It wasn't longer. It just had a ton of padding from backtracking and 2nd scenarios. RE3R has way more locations and ground space to cover. RE3R also has Nightmare and Inferno difficulties which are better than RE2's second runs.

@mcnichoj: RE3 is just as large of a game as RE2 remake was. The key difference is that RE3 is way more linear. You know, like the original RE3 was? Clearly people are rushing through the game anyway. I've only just reached RPD and am over 3 hours into the game. Which is maybe 1/3 of the way through.
