You make great points and I agree with your ideology; however it's clear you haven't yet tried this year's game. Your opinions aren't accurate to this year's actual game. You are just hypothesizing what you think it is.
Agreed. All I'm saying is I'm playing it now, and it honestly doesn't seem like a rehash of last year. In fact, here's my gripe: I used to enjoy just playing an offline Franchise mode. I loved it in fact, and would play through several seasons worth... This new 13 doesn't even have that option. To me, that sucks big time. But that's because I've actually played this year's game, and know what it is I am actually complaining about. I'm not just imagining it's exactly the same with an updated roster.
And so the whole message thread is full of gamers who are "too cool" to be playing a "rehashed update of every prior years' game of Madden"??? Seriously... all of you? This is a stale argument at this point. "I don't get why people can buy the same game year after year." Blah blah blah... And so you write on this specific thread to compain about it selling well? What a joke. I bet over half of the posters here haven't even played it yet. Further, 2K Sports did have a great football game, but claiming it's basically the Holy Grail of football games and gushing on about it is really overstating and exaggerating things. NFL 2K5 was SEVEN years ago. How many of you claiming it was better weren't even out of elementary school then? Do you happen to remember how similar it was to 2K4 or 2K3 for that matter? Get real. I'm not saying you can't really believe this way... but I'm calling BS that half of you are even sincere at all with your thoughts on this subject, and instead are just trying too hard to sound off with what the hip-gamer "cool kids" are saying. Try it for yourself, or don't play it. Simple as that.
Have I seen it? I use it nearly every day. As well as my Xbox Live Gold. KILLER DEALS every week. I play the heck outta the games available. You should too. Infamous 2, LBP2, Walking Dead, etc... are hardly a Sh*** free games.
The story is great. At least it keeps me playing and playing. I don't mind the roughness in the other areas of the game, and there is a bunch. The story and how it pits your character decisions is well worth the value for anyone who digs GOT.
Personally, I'm getting tired of these "comparisons." There's no way of knowing if any of the comparisons, in any of these kind of articles, have been tweaked or manipulated before they were posted on this page. It just seems like fueling an opportunity to have gamers argue with each other.
