If you spend more than $5 for Battlefield V then you are overpaying . The game is arguably the worst BF game in the series. Worst balance in weapons, classes, gadgets. Maps are designed in such a way to allow tanks to camp in the base camp spawn area, I could go on and on.

A remake could never be as good as the first. Go ahead, Hollywood throw away more millions.

@phili878: The sheer genius of the BL serie is it's humor. In all honesty, you picked the wrong game to start the series. You should have started with BL2 followed by the Pre-sequel, then this game. Without the humor its just another shooter. BL2 has loads of it IF If you are an American and you pay attention. I say American because it pokes fun at American culture thoughout the whole game, so if you are from another country , you may not get some of the jokes. The humor also varies depending on the character you pick. Some are funnier than others. But what the enemies say when you kill them is hilarious and never gets old such as " I HAD ALMOST PAID OFF THE HOUSE!" as he is dying. Humor everywhere. i'm only a few hrs into the BL3, and I must admit its not as much humor, but I have no doubt it gets better.

@phili878: Check the forums you say? That's funny, The forum for Gears has and will forever be toxic as it can get. The same complaints on there now are the same complaints for Gears 1, 2, and 3. So its all relative. Yes, absolutely yes the game has issues specifically staying connected. This is what happens when you do a closed beta, instead of an open one. You can't gauge demand. They were overloaded. In a week it will be ok. Not that I'm giving them a pass I'm not, its a mistake on there part. But its not the end of the world as we know it as the posters try to act like it is. Now if it is MCC bad two months from now. Then that's another story. I played yesterday for a few hours with the only issue being I could not see my match stats after the match. They are aware of it and a hot patch will be out this week most likely.

@lonesamurai00: I have found that Gamespot consistently either underrates a game compared to other sites such as IGN or GameInformer(my personal favorite), or they go completely overboard with their rating giving 9s when others says 7. I suspect that GS is just trying to standout. Really ratings don't mean much because there is no set standard of measure and is clearly in the hands of the reviewer. Reviews should only say what the game does in terms of story saying only if it is a new or continuing story not if its good or bad. and explain what the overall Idea of the game appears to be and how the PvP and PvE works, but not their personal view if they like it or not. I will reword his pros above as to how they should have been written-

- It has Open areas and new abilities in the campaign
- It has Characters with specific roles that can be utilized in co-op
- The progression systems in multiplayer modes are deeper
- There are some character moments that standout

There is very little opinion in what I wrote, just simply what's in the game, leaving the reader to decide if they may like it or not.

I won't bother with his cons because they are clearly subjective, which means pointless.

@johnny0779: I don't know about 5 being the most different, I think a good case could be made for Judgment being the most different.

For those casuals that may be interested in this game, You may like the PvP Arcade mode. Arcade mode is a new mode that has balanced the weapons in such a way that pretty much you can get kills fairly easily with any weapon(AR, SMG, pistol, etc), You also don't have to be able to wall bounce to be decent because the weapons can kill at mid range before players can close the distance, unlike the Traditional Gears experience which is mostly using the gnasher (shotgun). Hardcore fans probably won't like Arcade, but it not made for them. Its made for people thayt don't have time to master the cover system and gnasher.

@alastor529: Normally I bypass posting because I feel its not worth my time, but I was particularly bored so I thought I would chime in. It says everything you need to know in the first paragraph-

"Joker an accidental antihero who inspires the downtrodden people of Gotham to rise up against Wall Street fat cats and the "fascists" in City Hall. Joker doesn't need Batman because this time, he's the hero--the villains of this movie are poverty, neglect, and oppression."

The two things I bolded imply that it is crime to be successful and rich. The second thing very much implies that when you are poor and or have other issues, that its somebody's else's fault and not yours. Both of which support the idea of socialism. Its not in your face so to speak but its there. It also fully explains all the liberal sites praising the movie. The movie is praising a well known psychotic villain and subtly idolizing him. They are painting him in a different light so viewers will sympathize with him and support him. anybody that knows the Joker, I think most would say is the comic version of Charles Manson (look him up if you are too young to know who that is). If they were to make a movie showing Charles Manson as the hero , would they love that movie too? I have to wonder. This movie is not the joker from the comics, nor is he the joker from The Dark Knight. You may enjoy it, but it is not the joker you most likely know.
