I knew it! There were going to be lists without Mario Galaxy. Oh dear.
I never knew what people liked about it. Sure it was ok (for me) but I never was amazed by it.
Well what don't you know? It was one of the most gorgious games that generation, had the most beautiful music some of us have ever heard while playing a game. It had amazing creativity when it came to the environments and the platforming. It had a lot of content. It was super jolly unlike the brown shit we got used to. It was super polished. The one negative thing was the camera at times. It was a near perfect platformer. How were you not absolutely blown away by it? That game was like playing a dream.
Don't know. It never got me hooked. I loved Super Mario World (still playing it from time to time). It also might have to do that I absolutely hate the Wii Control scheme. And I always preferred 2d Mario. I might try it again. The last time I tried it was a few months ago and my gaming behaviour has changed a lot since then.
