I tend to agree. The main defense the PC players are using is that 'most pirates go on to buy the game anyhow'. Does anyone believe this for a second?

If the number of pirates is unknown as you say, then it is reasonable for Rockstar to hold off on releasing the PC version as they will have no idea about sales numbers.

I know a guy who took a week off work to play DIII, he ended up getting sacked. That's the first time I know of someone losing a job from a game (indirectly, I know).
