Civilization V
Civilization Gods + Kings
Cradle of Civilization V Map Pack: TheMediterranean
Cradle of Civilization V Map Pack: Asia
Foreign Legions: Multi Massacre
Alright guys, thanks for all your comments and recommendations! :) I decided to get Civilization V for now! :))
I would hold out on V, as I'm sure it will be a daily or flash deal during the sale. Probably dropping to like 75% off. If you wait for that, then you should be able to great deals on both IV and V.

Sounds good, thanks for the info! ;)
As I diehard CIV fan, I would recommend CIV IV. CIV IV:BTS is one of the greatest games ever. CIV V is a very waterdown version of the Civilization Series. A large portion of the CIV community do not like the game, including myself.
Still, there are certainly folks who seem to enjoy the game. CIV V did invited a lot of newer players to CIV simply due to the fact that it is a dumb down version of CIV.
So I guess it boils down to how intense a strategy gamer your are. CIV V is Civ Light. CIV IV is the best game in the series and one of the best all time. It's going to require you to think more.
Of course, you could just simply get both.

Thanks I might get both, I'll see! ;)
I'd go with Civ V, no doubt. Especially if you get Gods and Kings expansion. Most things in it is a natural evolution from Civ IV, so it's only natural it's better. But there are two things that made the latter a real step up.
.
1- City-states. Seriously, it's incredible how this feature make the games much more enjoyable. Sometimes they make you feel like you are playing the same stories you lean in school.
.
2- The most important improvement is definitely the hexanogal grid instead of the old squre one. They re-worked the combat from the ground and the end result was fantastic. The combat is much, much smarter and better. And in the expansion it's even better.
.
But you can't go wrong with neither. But as I said, I would take Civ V.padaporra
Great thanks foryour reply, I think u convinced me to go for Civilization V! Thank you! ;)
Heyy Guys,
currently as some of you may know, Steam is having an Autumn Sale again till the 27th November. I can't decide if I should get Civilization IV or Civilization V. Both seem amazing! Please give me your choice and your reasoning which one and why you would get one (Pro's vs. Con's maybe ;) ).
I appreciate it a lot, thanks guys! Have a nice Day,
sniperboyz :)
