One word one number: "Update 2.40"... that firmware update ended my PS3 experience and that of many others and sony did'nt care less about it. I was never an xbox fan but i have one now and it's all pretty much the same.Oh the laser in the PS3,it's not blue as they say but "RED". Only the coding is different. Eat dirt sony!

Letters to the OFLC will get you nowhere. The big hurdle for us is the South Australian government who continues to block any amendment to rating system where all other states are all too happy to grant an R rating to bring us into line with the rest of the world. This has been going on for a while and gamespot has had reports(lots of them) in the past and they have mentioned thepersons name that has the call ,some attorney general so if letter should be sent to anyone it should be him.

Whats an R18+ rating going to for games anyway..look at the policies for sony,xbox , wii and pc publishers they all state that if a game gets rated R18+ they wont publish it anyway. The best we can hope for is a mature 18 rating due to their policies any more than that and the industry currently wont let it pass. I have all the uncensored GTA titles and Manhunt the sickest game ever and sure there are bits that are violent but books and films ive read and seen have been much more graphic all freely accessable to kids if they go looking. Point is if the kids want to see or read something they will get it by any means so the government knows that and its likely that an R rating will never happen for games, well maybe in canberra where the pollies set the rules and of course their own rules for their own little territory which is "X" nuff said.

Like what the man said...GTA broke and set new ground for all games we see. You cant deny that most games have a hint on GTA in them. They should of went on to say rockstar was the greatest developer thus far as any and every game they make has some sort of impact and they have lots more to give to gamers than what consoles currently provide.

Gee it's been about 3 months since ive looked at any PS3 news and sony just dont know when to stop. What next will they ask us for hair samples so they can make voodoo dolls of euro and aussie gamers and stick pins in them while we try and play on the PS3 shell that we will get ,because thats all it's going to be by the time we get it a shell with nothing in it...at least ot wont overheat with the lack of components.
