Yeah same thing was happening to me. Like the other guy said check ur cable. I only had one hdmi cable that i was swapping between devices and would get the black screen/sound loss for a second. After i got a newcable problem fixed.

finish one match not round with a perfect. So if set to best of three that would mean u have to get two perfect rounds in a row if set to best of one you onle need one to finish the match! finish 3 matches not rounds with ultra finishes! so in other words set your matches to best of one. get one perfect match. Then finish the 3 with ultras. Oh and dont die. if you die you have to start over. My problem was that i kept finishing 1 round with a perfect and 3 rounds with ultras when i should have been getting 2 rounds with a perfect to complete the match and a total of 6 rounds with ultras to complete the 3 match requirement.

oh and this is to get gouken. you have to have akuma first and have beat the game with him... To get akuma its the same as above just one less match completed with ultra finishes.

It eats my days! Love the new features and the good old weird story line. As always for me, the best bang for the buck game. period.

my only issue is the reliance on homeroom to vote for new class creation options.

I called my local one and they said that GTAIV will become available at midnight at all 24/7 walmarts. Ha im going to one in amish country.... doubt there will be a line there lol

i really dont think so. i remember paying 59.99 for some games on N64... ocarina of time anyone?

We are aware that some customers are having issues with the PS3 version of the game freezing. We are investigating this issue very seriously and will contact you with additional information as soon as possible. In the meantime, we appreciate the feedback you are providing and welcome any additional information relating to your PS3 and firmware versions as well as details of where the freeze occurs.

Please update this incident with the following information:

- Type of crash you are experiencing:
"Hang" (where the screen is totally frozen) If this is the case, was there anything out of the ordinary displayed on screen? Specifically, we would like to hear about any text messages, popup windows, ect.
"Matrix-like" freeze (where the camera can still be moved)? If this is the case, did you notice a white popup window beforehand?
- Time played since the game was launched (ie, "time elapsed since you started the last game session")?
- Frequency of crashes (if recurring)?
- Firmware version : 1.94 or 2.0? This can be found in the PS3's options menu, under > Settings > System Settings > System information > "System Software Version"
- Are you connected to PSN?
- Was Assassin's Creed the last game you played before this game session? Was there anything unusual in the game or at the end of the preceding game?
- Do you have the PS3 Information board activated? (firmware version 2.0 only)

*this was received two days ago. i have answered all of the questions they asked and am waiting for any more updats via e-mail or there web sight. i will be playing aome ac later today and will post if my game was freeze free again.
