@evol8i Europeans like soccer and we like violence. If Microsoft really wants their system to take off early, pack a free copy of Call of Duy: Ghosts with the Day One editions. That would sell like hot cakes.
@DarthRevan My view on the price is that you pay $800 for your phone, over a grand for a laptop, yet $500 is too much for a next generation gaming console? I'm far from rich but with how expensive other pieces of technology are today, $500 is not bad at all.
I honestly am getting sick and tired of this console war, it really is annoying listening to people complain over which console is better and all that crap. Buy what you want and who cares what anyone else thinks. I'll be picking up an Xbox One and I'll love it.
This is a game that I would buy an Xbox One on day 1 for. But because Call of Duty doesn't interest me and the next Halo won't be a launch title, I'll probably be waiting until Q1 2014 when this and Destiny come out. Looks awesome though!!
Where the Call of Duty multiplayer thrived the single player (past World at War) failed beyond belief, and I play games for their single player first. This is why Halo will forever be my baby in terms of an all around game: incredible story in a deep and rich universe with an iconic hero, and the addicting multiplayer that has been one of the world's best since 2001. I hope Ghosts is the beginning of the end for CoD.
@Cirno Yousei I'm pretty sure I just read that the 360 was the highest selling console for the 30th month in a row...huh. Microsoft and Sony will both make bank, and this generation could sell more than the last. You're an idiot.
