@guudgidga: I use the Joy-Cons exclusively from the moment of Switches release and play Splatoon 2 regularly and I wouldn't say a bad word about them. With the included grip they act like a regular controller albeit a small one - the buttons and sticks are on the smaller side, the triggers are shallow and digital, but the same can be said about the Pro controller (Nintendo is weird like that). My X360 controller is better than Joy-Cons, no doubt about it, so is the Nintendo Pro controller probably, but I wouldn't call it a must buy. Keep in mind though that the D-pad on the Pro controller is quite bad, so if you plan to play fighting games or any retro games it isn't particularly good for that. Same goes for the Joy-Cons, those don't have a D-pad at all. Personally I'll go with the 8bitdo's SF30 Pro since they have an excellent D-pad and offer the most flexibility (they work with everything basically). I would say try the Joy-Cons first, they aren't as bad as some people claim IMO. Good luck with your Switch purchase!

not to mention the 8bitdo's SF30 Pro and SN30 Pro do work with the SNES Classic/Mini via a dongle (bought separately from 8bitdo site for around 15$). also the D-pad on this is light years ahead of anything Nintendo offers for the Switch at the moment (yes, that includes the Pro controller)

@benandmax: Assetto Corsa eats PC2 for breakfast if taking pure physics/handling into consideration. It's not as fully fledged as PC2, but handling wise is in the PC big boys league (rFactor 2, Automobilista, iRacing). Also playing racing sims on a gamepad is staright up wrong!
