wow, it is POINTLESS to argue to this guy I have went through the pages and the kid only replies to stuff he can argue anything that he knows he cant fight he skips over.
Mario is "hardcore" to some and not to others, its all personal preference on gaming styles, there is no set rule for whats Hardcore or not so why fight it. IMO Mario is harder then Gears of War which I beat in 10 hours. Im not even half way done with SPM and im about 8 hours into it and its already givin me more challange the Gears did......so whats Hardcore? And why do people care so much what others do or think I know this is system wars but man it makes me not want to come to these forums some times just reading so much ignorance all the time.
Have a nice day.
its a standard TV in standard def, my Xbox runs perfect and I would like to think that has more power then my nintendo....and when this happened to me before it was on a different TV also. oh well no reason to go on, apperently im out of my mind because nothing like this could ever happen to a nintendo system, lol. I LOVE nintendo and have got many of my freinds to try the Wii who now are trying to buy one.
Have a good day everyone.
again, multiple TVS, different houses....all nintendo cords........did you even read my posts....lol.Are the cables touching the power cords? Are they some cheap third party thing? Have you tried a friend's cables? Tried it on another tv?
FYI those lines often appear due to interferance with the signal coming through the cables. Interferance from faulty surroundor stereo speakers or power cords or even the tv itself.

I had this problem for a while as well. I figured out that it was my TV. What kind of TV do you have?GamerForca
I just talked to them and they said they have been receiving these and there trying to figure out what is causing it. They're sending me a label so I can ship mine to them and Like I said Ive tried it on multiple TVs and I have a 360 which works PERFECT.
Probably didn't put your cables in tight enough. Or your TV just sucks... because the chances of you getting the only Wiis that make weird vertical lines are quite slim..Yarcofin
Im not the only one, last time I called they didnt even mention anything like "make sure your cables are plugged in", when I told them the problem they said "OK, your going to have to send it in". and there was a thread about this on these boards that had like 20 some pages but I dont feel like looking for it.
Do they jus replace console or everything it came with it, because it might jus be the AV Cords or even your TV.

Last time they replaced teh whole console....and its not the TV or AV cord Ive tried different tvs and cords. Its a problem in the system I guess.......In the future im going to make sure the 24/7 thing is off and unplug the thing everytime im done or somthing....
ugh, Like 6 or 7 months ago my Wii started to get these virtical lines going through it when I turned it on so i called up nintendo and the replaced it..........Today I power it up to play some Super Paper Mario and BAM there back.....So it looks like I will be going on my 3rd Wii within the year, this is really cool I havnt had this much problems with a system since the Sega Saturn, and I own a 360 so I guess that will hold me over with APF2k8 till I get A Wii back.
Oh, and I just called there repair service for the Wii and all lines are busy....lol.
just venting a lil.
