@jenovaschilld: There is so much stupidity in your comment it's making my head hurt. I'm well aware of how the publisher and developers work. Guess what? If a game doesn't sell publishers won't get funding for their next project and likely won't rehire the developers again. In a lot of cases developers will own their own IP and might partially fund their own games. Countless developers and publishers have gone out of business. A few big companies and success stories doesn't change the reality of that. The publisher of A Plague's Tale is not a huge company and could easily go by the wayside.
As for your other point, the only thing you have ever owned is the piece of plastic. NOT the software that is on it. Digital and physical are the same exact things, forms of distributing software with a limited license attached to it. If digital distribution was around 30 years ago we never would have had physical media.
@notafan: What innovations are those? You've missed out on a lot of classic games if you haven't had a Sony console since the PS2. I do like Game Pass, on my PC. As long as Microsoft puts all their games out on PC there is very little reason to buy their console. Even during the PS3 era Sony still delivered on games more than any other.
@bubba_666: The difference is very noticeable on pretty much every Sony published game and a lot of AAA third party titles. Obviously people are buying the Pro if they aren't throwing a discount on it.
@asnakeneverdies: The length is actually perfect for that style of game and I enjoyed both playthrough I did. The Zoe DLC is highly entertaining too (the others not so much).
