PC haters are at full bloom this season.lawlessxLOL they jealous, thats all it is a used 360 is about $50 now, i know this because i just found a 360 few weeks ago in the dumpster and its working too with all cables controller what not, i looked it up how much i can get for it on ebay or craigslist its pathetic... its a piece of junk and they have no way of upgrading probably not before next generation comes out around 2015, by then that thing will be like a museum piece already
its already been showing that it does not matter who "knows better" the rules are made by the one who is making out the pay checks but in this case i seem to agree, its NOT because dice knows better, because BF3 is unlikely to be overly popular on consoles, its not a console game, i dont even get it how people try to play that on a console i guess they can , its gona be like a bunch of 3 years olds playing hokey ;) = funny at best crysis on the other hand (single player) is like made for console.. it had to be a hit... dont really need much skills or fast controls to play the single player modeDICE wont consolize BF3. They know better, they know the PC gamers made DICE so popular.

The point ISN'T that DICE "consolized" (a stupid made up term to be the big bad boogie man for PC gamers), it's that DICE isn't a PC only developer anymore.Espada12
The term consolized isn't really stupid, it's just a term used when an originally PC focused game has it's design changed to either be able to run on consoles or for the console audience. Also I'm not sure what DICE being a multiplatform developer has to do with anything, I mean valve is as well.
i think the biggest problem is that the 360 is a stone old console now , with a $20 video card (current value), its primitive compared to even a cheap few year old PC, so they cut corners and make the grafix compatible with both... and with old consoles like that that does not fly anymore.. when the 360 was still brand new i would say go for it.. but now for years anylongerthey are cheap as hell and outperform in every way and form the most expensive and popular boards, no matter if it performance, features, overclocking, stability, compatibility they unbeatable IMO
plus the support is like 1 of a kind exelent
http://www.asrock.com but i do buy the boards from dealers i find usualy on ebay
the board i use right now cost me $50 and is the same exact board that is sold in the US with a diferent brandname for far above $200
It's easy to build your own comp., don't be so intimidated. If you can read you can build one. Most of the M-Boards these days are softswitch and they auto-configure everything for you. Basically it's like LEGO'S just put the parts where they fit, the instructions that come with each part tell you exactly how to do it. Best suggestion if you're on a budget is to buy the best motherboard you can, so it will last a few years, and then the best
I'm no computer genious, not even close. I built my own and for $1400 I gotwhat I think is a pretty goodPC, take out the waste of a sound card I bought (junky), and get a low end HDD and you've got a great machine for around $1200.
EVGA-nForce 680i SLi - $200 (overclockable front side bus for future processors)
Core 2 Due 6600 - $220
PQI DDR2 800 Ram - $90 Not the best but 2 to 4 gig is great
XFX 8800 GTX - $550
Sound card - $75 who cares, as long as it's an Audigy2 or above (personally X-Fi Extreme gamer $145)
Hard drive - Unless you "NEED" awesome load times get cheap one $75 (personally Raptor 74Gb $145)

LOL dude you have way to much money to waste, i make a system with just about the same performance for not even HALF of that money... you scaring the poor tread starter away with they INSANE prices : )
for your price i can add to the system a high resolution video projector and play games on a full sized wall surface
on subject:
BUT The LEGO comment it very true this days, if it fits in the slot it WILL work, there is no need of big research just buy the cheapsuff (i build systems for like 10 years)
This download (Counter-Strike 1.5 Final) is freeware. "Freeware is copyrighted computer software which is made available for use free of charge, for an unlimited time, as opposed to shareware where the user is required to pay (e.g. after some trial period or for additional functionality)."
well you do need halflife1 as it is a mod of that, but that game (halflife1) you can pick up in most used game stores or your local fleemarket for like $1or just download that as well its so old noone cares
