Is there a transcript of the Death Stranding presentation at Tokyo Game Show, or will there be an article written about it rather than just this new teaser?

That said, I have to agree that Troy Baker sounds too much like his normal speaking voice. He's a bit of a star so we know what he looks like. Perhaps the in-game character looks like him as well?

I've been following the dev of FFv13/ FF15 since 2006. Been watching the spoiler content, and now reading the official reviews. what's clear and what the reviewers are withholding from saying is that they've cut a lot of corners to meet their November 29 deadline. The story, graphics, NPC design, cutscene direction/cinematography seem to have been taken massive shortcuts (Leviathan sequence, Altissia looks so geometric and low poly, unresolved aliasing issues until the very end of the game), and setting events at night to save on real-time rendering capacity. For 2016, it feels unacceptable from a massive game company and with so much expectation and hype for the loyal fanbase. It seems they assembled all their resources into a team without much experience, while trying to implement "too much" of the fan feedback. Didn't they also outsource production to a studio in Taiwan? It doesn't look that way..

The production design overall looks like a big step down from FF13, which is sad to say considering FF15 is a PS4 game, and FF13 is not. It seems they spent 75% of their development time on perfecting the open world game play system mechanics and in the process cut out a lot of other essential elements that make FF a respected series.

I think if they pushed the game's release to Spring 2017, they would have been able to flesh out the story at a proper level of quality. Story seems to have suffered the most to meet the deadline. There's so many elliptic story content and discontinuity that doesn't feel like fluid and convincing storytelling. Even FF7 had more story and creative storytelling content, and that was made 20 years ago.

I can only hope the game sells well and they re-focus their direction for a theoretical FF16..

this cancels all the other very average trailers, especially that dubstep one..

but will the in-game cutscenes have the same standard of quality?

so far all the in-game dialog scenes we've seen is poorly directed..

once again, games like The Last of Us - a reference they've cited - supersedes in this regard.

- it still looks like a last-gen PS3 game, to put it nicely
- rampant hair aliasing issues
- the voice acting is so generic and stereotypical, so is the scripting
- undetailed character models, notably the faces, including the 4 leads
- the UI still needs work
- programming errors still appearing: when the giant bird arrives, the characters aren't looking at it as they comment
- Cindy doesn't appear to look straight at Noct when she's talking

- The dog Umbra sequence seemed pretty uneventful, although it seems to be a rather important plot segway to Luna?..

I'm suprised that although they've cited The Last of Us as a point of reference, the characters, scripting and dialog style doesn't compare to begin with. I was watching some of TLOU redux videos on youtube and was reminded how powerful and well directed the cinematic + dialog moments were, on top of having fantastic character models and general atmosphere. And this is PS3. And not a socalled open-world game yet managed to be highly successful anyway? Didn't SE take note of this?

I'm saddened to see the franchise going downhill despite increase in budgets, technology, and game-making experience.

they are releasing the game in less than 6 months and they can't sort out the framerate + resolution issue? this is really bad. It was really painful to see massive aliasing on Leviathan and character hair in the newest trailers.. I don't even recall seeing this in past FF instalments.

i look at other games that are already out with great graphics - MGS5, The Division, Quantum Break, The Order 1889, even Watchdogs - and FF15 looks like PS3 game. Why is that?

The latest trailers and demo aren't very inspiring either, which I hope I didn't have to say. I only played FF13 for a few hours then dropped it, but even the graphics look better - in many ways - then FF15. This aliasing issue is not acceptable at this stage, and the landscape design looks quite empty compared to other games currently on the market.

I really want to love FF15, i've been an FF player since FF2/IV on the SNES. But I feel the latest interation is ambitious but doesn't quite have its graphic priorities sorted (aliasing, global illumination). Also disappointed to know the car-plane/thing was not integrated into the story, leaving zero surprises for vehicle-based sky battles and exploration..

Now I hope they surprise us at E3, with a great new story/gameplay trailer.
