Lucky i have had a PS3 from day one so getting the user name i want was pretty easy but some people which have got their hands on one now though are probs finding it hard to get the name they want so in frustration just smash the keys and what ever comes up thats their name. moral or the story get in their early
Im in the UK so i already have the patch for ps3 not to sure why you people in the us are having to wait but my game was starting to slow and this patch tbh it doesnt slow down anymore plays just fine so yeah if your in the uk buy it us maybe wait until next week
It depends what you buy. sony know that some people dont want to wait for games or cant be arsed to go out and buy them. and the concept of just being able buy it then and just leave it over night while you sleep to download is to simple for some people. I dont but any ps3 games via the store just the ps1 classics and maybe a few of the HD remakes such as the resident evil games and ofcourse the dlc but thats it. if you dont like the price just dont buy it simple isnt it
I think the current UI works perfectly well apart from maybe slow loading when trying to access it from within agame other then that i think its fine but i would like to be able to make my own files on the system for my PSOne classics instead of just having them all together. would be easier to have a file named Final Fantasy and have all my classic FF games on there and then another file called Tomb Raider and all those games in there you get my drift would also be nice if there was a click and drag option so i can custom which games i want where in the list they go
Is it just me or has this update improved the performance by a huge amount. updated it yesterday and had a few games and noticed everything is running so much smoother. To me this is the best improvment i have ever seen to a games performance for any update for any game. does anyone eles agree with me. I love this game to me MW3 is just running around until you bump into someone and just hoping you fire first...boring. in battlefield 2 the other day i saw one of my team players sacrifice his jet and himself and smashed in to a tank that was destroying our team just the impact and the speed and the wtf happened just cant be beaten in any other multiplayer game im my view. and thats the point it is my view if you like to play cod play i dont mind just dont expect me to join in and have a game with you
Why do people hate on consoles over pc. a simple example is that when the ps3 came out it cost £425 i know i got one but i dont think you could have spent £425 at that time on a desktop and for it to be able to play BF3 aswell as the ps3 does...its a simple as that. Pc is a true powerhouse but only if you dont mind updating your system twice a year and have completly nothing eles worthy to spend your money on and even then its still plays the same games to be fair just a few more pixels here and there but alot more cash out of the bank. I would perfer to be playing the same games on the console but then having alot more cash in the bank then playing the same games at a ever so slightly better quality but having so much less money i cant see how it adds up unless you dont have alife or a girlfriend and you love pixels more then people

You truly dont understand. When Sony released the PS3 they sold it at lost, The PS3 did not make any profit per console unit until the Slim was released. You could have bulit a Pc with a dual core cpu with a Geforce 7800 for around 450 euros and that system would out do the consoles for years until support for those gpu's ended Every multiplatform game from 2005-2007 looked much better. Saying that those Pc's with direct x 9 based gpu's cant play BF3 while a 360 or PS3 can is nothing to brag about because BF3 looks like junk compared the Pc version .Lets not forget about the Geforce 8800GTX that came out the same month as the PS3 which left both consoles in the dust and still runs modern games much better then the consoles.
There are reasons why with Pc gaming when a GPU thats 6 years old does not get anymore support... Pc gaming looks ahead not unlike the consoles which have to be downsized and downgraded just to run games at 30fps let alone 720 resolution or lower on 5+ year old tech. Also you do not have to upgrade twice a year to keep up... I didnt upgrade my Pc's from 2005 to 2007 and from 2007 to late 2010. and that old Pc from 2007 is still playing modern games much better then a console would. You clearly have not seen the differences of what a high end Pc from 2007+ can do compared to Consoles
