You could do a soft reset of L+R+Start+Select, that is about it.  And it is funny because I found out that Donnel, the farmer, is actually like the best unit in the game.

I'm going to pretend I didn't read that. And what exactly does the soft reset do?

And I am going to pretend I didn't just fail to get him in my party after the mission he's in...

Donnel starts out really weak but his aptitude skill increases his growth rates for every stat. He also has an insanely high luck. Basically he tends to increase almost every stat every time he levels up. I re-classed him to Merc at lvl 10 so he now has armsthrift which, when his luck hits 50, means his weapons will never degrade. Give him a decent weapon and he's basically already become one of the tanks of the game. As long as you keep re-classing him to avoid stat caps, he ends up being one of the best characters in the game.

Hi,
I've just completed Mass Effect 2 (loved every moment of it), and have a spare £20(around $25) to spend on something new. I was thinking of either 2100 microsoft points for ME2 DLC and maybe a gamertag change, or buy a secondhand game to keep me busy 'til Rage comes out... I was wondering if anyone could recommend a game they like/similar to ME2 or their favourite piece of Mass Effect 2 DLC...? Thanks in advance for your time

I can't speak for the ME2 DLC but, depending on what games you like, there are a lot of older games out there that are cheap now. Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are 20 bucks each. I know games like Oblivion are pretty cheap. I recently picked up Batman Arkham Asylum for about 25 bucks and I thoroughly enjoyed that game. Both Bioshock games are pretty cheap too. If you've played all of these games then maybe the DLC is the way to go but if not I'd go for those gems you might have missed out on.

Need a game with a high-replay value or longevity and offline. Played oblivion, ME, Red-dead, GTA, Dragon ages, Bioshock. Was thinking of getting ME2 since its dirt cheap but while i did find the first interesting it was kinda slow. I finished it in 8 hours too.

While I did find the first ME amazing, ME2 blows it out of the water in nearly every way. In my opinion you should pick it up. Hands down one of the best games of our generation. It develops a lot faster and they really were able to make the game a lot more fun to play (although it turned into kind of a shooter/action game rather than an RPG). It'll last you a while plus it should only be about 20 bucks. You should also consider getting Fallout 3. I finally finished it up last night and I've had that game forever. I just picked up New Vegas so I can't quite speak on that game but I heard it's also long and it's also only 20 bucks.

I'm looking for a game to keep me pre-occupied for the next week or so. I was thinking about getting Bastion or Catherine. Anyone recommend either of those? I was also thinking about picking up an older game. I'm looking for a game with a good story. That's really all I play games for. Money isn't an issue but if there's a great, cheap game I'm all ears.

I just finished up another semester at college and now I have a couple months to do nothing so I'm looking for some good games that I never played when they were first released. Basically anything that would be cheaper right now. Even if it's $40, that's still in my price range. I just don't want to spend a full 60 bucks on a game right now.

I've picked up most of the big blockbusters over the years so if it's extremely popular I've probably already played it. I'm a fan of basically every genre so no restrictions.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm still rockin the phat. The slims feel cheap andplastickyto me. The phat feels a lot more solid and I like the UMD door on it. Oh, and I have it on custom firmware so that's also a deciding factor.

I'd say go for Crisis Core, God of War, Monster Hunter 2 (I'm having trouble getting into it but from what I hear it's great), Wipeout Pure (if you like racing games at all), Battlefront Renegade Squadron, Star Wars the Force Unleashed, Daxter, and maybe Patapon. The first 3 are the best IMO.

All of those games you mentioned sound good for you though because youre a fan of that genre.

P.S. No games on the PSP are going to be like Gears (the PSP couldn't handle that chainsaw haha)

I'm going to have to go with Rock Band 2. I have it and it is really sweet. It has one of the best setlists that I've ever seen in a game. Not to mention the insane downloadable content that's going to come. It doesn't have much change over Rock Band 1 besides better instruments, online world tour, and more songs. Guitar Hero: World Tour looks like it could be cool but chances are that Activision won't put out much downloadable content for it because they will be moving right on to another game.

Until last night it used to be noob and pwned for me, but one guy kept repeating the phrase "You guys are effing p*****"

However, the effing was in the other, more obscene form. He used that phrase so much that that is my most heard phrase now....
