I need to change my ip address and have always done it by changing the WAN Mac address. I am now doing it on a new modem and it has a WAN Mac address and a Wireless Mac address. What is the Wireless Mac address and should I change that instead?

If I just upgrade my iTouch firmware so I can get the App Store why would I want to jailbreak it?

I have a router which is shared by about 10 people. Whenever I hook up my wireless adapter it fails on the third step when it ssigns it an ip address. I have tried mostly everything. Do I need to open a port on the router or something?

The money doesn't matter but I can't get both. i just want the faster one basically. it is easier to upgrade ram so I'm probably gona get the first one, unless the second one is faster.

I can either get a MacBook Pro with a 2.5ghz processor and 512mb on the video card but with 2gb of ram OR i can get it with a 2.4ghz processor and 256mb on the video card but with 4gb of ram. I barely play computer games but I still want everything to look good. Which ones better?

I'm getting a 15 inch MacBook Pro but there are 2. One is $500 more but only for .1ghz more power on the processor and 512mb on the video card instead of 256mb. Is it worth that much more money to get the slightly better one?

I just got Seagate FreeAgent Pro external hd and wanted to know if it's smart to format it again first before I start transfering over all my data.
