@froidnite:

Getting a refund is just more effort and headache I don't need. Steam customer service is awful, so personally I'd just rather wait to confirm a game is functional.

In most cases, incentives for Pre-Orders is usually cosmetic and its not like Digital Copies are going to run out. If I were to Pre-Order a game, it would likely be through Amazon Prime where I can actually save some money.

Got a mini-ITX rig in the living room connected to the HDTV, great for gaming and everything in-between.

Lately it got a lot use Streaming the Olympics which was pretty cool.

Yeah..."Free-Games"...as long as you keep paying. Seeing how PS+ hardly ever goes on sale that really sucks.

Oh well, I haven't had an active PS+ account since Year 1 since my online play happens on PC.

@graffitiheart:

Word on the street is Quantum Break support for Windows Store has already come to end, so why on earth would anyone support the Windows Store?

Sketchy game quality, sketchy support from MS now and in the past with GFWL, but hey...go for it.

This article pretty much sums up my stance towards MS in the gaming market.

Yeah, I have curves set through Afterburner, however I use an ASUS tool to actually put the CPU in low-power mode.

PC is perfectly fine for me, but not so much for those who want their hands held through every little issue that might arise.

@BabeNewelll:

People should know enough to install the latest drivers prior to install a new game or to do so if they are experiencing problems.

Installing new drivers also means running Driver Sweeper or some other tool to blast the remnant out of the registry.

They're certainly not for the plug & play types.

Smart move, and I am a preferred PC gamer through and through but I would have never picked up NMS Day-1. In fact I hardly ever buy any game Day 1, its just to risky.

Man...this thing is getting killed on Steam...32% Positive Score.

Performance issues and crashing seems to be the theme. Maybe one day people learn to stop Pre-Ordering; Risk -vs Reward is not favorable.
