[QUOTE="sdavies27"]ok so the prob is I cant connect my 360 to my vista pc. I have a netgear DG834 router my 360 is wireless and my pc is wired, and they cant see each other. now this is my it get wried, if I remove the wireless ad on the 360 and connect stirght to the pc it works fine, I cant stream media, setup media center ect but no live. if i go back to the wireless ap then i get live but on connect to my pc My brothers laptop(agian vista) can connect to his 360 no probs thought the same router, the only dif is that is that both his laptop and 360 are wireless. and his 360 cant see my pc either. also since i have to ether net port on my pc i tried to just brigde the two as soon as i did that the 360 and my pc stoped talking! something is up here, but i cant figer it out, HELP. PS its not a firewall issueTimothyB

So it seems that the PC is not visible to any devices on the network. When you say you connect the 360 straight to the pc, how exactly, like the ethernet cable from the 360 stright to the back of the PC, bypassing the router and internet?

What if you resetup the internet and home network on the PC? Simple wizard setup to tell the PC that it uses the internet from a network, and other sharing options. Maybe some how it's currently setup to just access internet without being part of a home network.

The pc is visible to other pcs just not the 2 360 or my PS3

OK for the first post goto dash system tab check your settings for connecting to a pc. There is an option for disconnecting if already connected to a pc to restablish a connection. Try this and post. The 3rd post you will need XP Media Center edition or Vista to watch videos, not Media Player.CorporateHammer
Ya with the fall update you cant do that anymore, when the 360 is wireless it wont see my (wired) vista pc but it will see my bros(wireless) vista laptop

hi, right i juts built a new system with a LOT of power (8800 sli) so i got an LCD mon with nat res of 1400x900, and I'v been thinking about getting a new one with a higher res screen 1920x1200 is it worth it, with my hardware I should be able to set most games to that res, but how much of a differance will there be going from 1400x900 to 1920x1200. this is the one i'm thinking about, best price, but i cant find a review about it any one have it, know about it 24" Acer AL2416WB Widescreen LCD, 1920x1200, 1000:1, 400 cd/m2, 5ms, VESA thanks
