Video games are released around the world, so i really don't see why american "violent" video gamers are being targeted. The NRA is probably going to use this to take attention away from the real issue at hand, the US's loose gun control laws. People around the world play video games, but you don't see this much gun violence in those countries because the law laws are stronger and more restrictive. As an American (and one from the state of Connecticut after what happened at Sandy Hook), I believe that video games should not be looked at as the problem, but rather the gun laws. Video games are a place that someone can de-stress themselves and take out anger. It is an alternative to killing and taking drugs (i.e. keeps the kids off "the streets").
