@FelipeInside: Ah, sorry, yeah, I get that concept, but most arcade flight games allow joysticks. It's a little amazing to me that they couldn't have simply added support enabling a joystick would be so incredibly easy given that gamepads already work.

So while I do appreciate you both taking the time to comment, it seems I'm alone in expecting a triple A title to have all the support I'd expect from a similar game. I was hoping/expecting joystick support of out the gate, in fact I got responses on the Rockstar forums saying as much. Still, those are fans, not Rockstar, so shame on me for believing them, but it's still a realistic request from what I can see from others asking for the same thing. As for it being an arcade game, it's a open world RPG, just like Skyrim. I don't think this has been an arcade game since the first one.

I am a little blown away that there appears to be no support of Joysticks for helicopters and planes. So many people use these when playing Battle Field games that it's just strange that they aren't currently supported. I've tried asking Rockstar if there are any plans to support this in the future, and I get no response. Very sad indeed that Rockstar aren't addressing this as I can see quite a few people asking for this on their support page. Thoughts?

Your welcome, Supreme Commander on Steam says version 1.1.0 but its actually the latest patch with the newer interface. You may get Forged Alliance added to your Steam Games as well, I registered only my Supreme Commander key on Steam and it also added Forged Alliance too.

Interesting. I have a Steam copy of the original *and* the original DVD. I'll consider attaching the full version to a separate Steam account so my son and I can play against each other. :)

I just want to thank both of you for the assist. Also, I've been on Steam since the start and had no idea... that makes my life soooo much easier... I guess there's a bunch of games I'm going to be able to play now that aren't out of the box compatible with Win 7... yaaay.

Gaspowered games is a thing of the past, and I want to patch my original release Supreme Commander... Gamespot *used* to have all the patches for all the games. They seem to have taken a step away from this, which makes me a wee bit sad. Anyone know where to find the Supreme Commander patches?

This has been bugging me all day, does anyone else remember Disney CEO Don Iger's statement that they would be reviewing all 'violent' games back in January? Well I'm pretty sure all these games would fit that category. Wouldn't it be fair to assume they nuked the games for exactly this reason. http://kotaku.com/5979143/disney-ceo-vows-to-examine-the-companys-violent-video-games-if-any-exist. I see this as an extention of that directive and more to the point this is a little concerning to me about where the next Star Wars film is going. If they'd kill these games simply because there is some violence to them.

So Steam is selling Crysis 2 again, I'm still trying to figure out how I install the patched DX11 files. I just Downloaded the game last night and it wasn't patched. The game itself said I'm supposed to download the files from EA directly... what a mess.
