Blame video games, its an easy way to look at things instead of going into deeper issues.

The first thing I thought when the review started was Gears of War.

I really like the look of this game.

That was pretty rad to me.

@Elann2008 I see what you are saying. It's more to do with the same style of game play, although I liked gears 3, it game play did not feel all too fresh even though it had added sections every now and again.

The over head view looks like a nice addition. However at the top of the screen is a mission timer which continuously counts down; is this for demo purposes or is it actually incorporated into the game ? If so then surely that takes away some of the sandbox element from the game play.

I'm quite looking forward to the story with added difficulty, but the game will need some new game mechanics to keep the game fresh. I really don't want GOW to become the same as Call of duty.

Dead Space seems to be moving away from the survival horror of the first game and more towards a more action filled game. I hope that isn't true for the whole of the game, since it does seem to be moving with the times of videos games.
