I don't think halo gets too much credit, but it gets enough credit for the type of game it is. I don't quite understand that argument between the graphics of Halo 2 and Halo 3 because there is a minimal comparison between them. Halo 3 is 'much' better graphically, especially where draw distance and lighting texture is concerned, the overall textures are much better in Halo 3 as well, however I still thought that some area's could have looked better. I haven't played Gears of War so I cant compare that game with Halo 3... but looking at screenshots of both games, Gears of War looks alot better. I'm not a big FPS fan, with Halo and Call of Duty the only two series that I've played, but I think Halo still deserves credit in its own right, especially when not comparing it to other great fps games that have been released in recent times.

I had a lot of difficulty with NG because a lot of times I play games just for fun and relaxation. I don't intend to sit there are learn how to approach different things. However, Ninja Gaiden is a game where you have to learn the moves, you have to pay attention to what is going on, and so forth. Therefore, it was very difficult for me for a long time. Recently I started playing it again and really paid attention to what was going on and my moves, and so on. And I got a lot better. Still not great, but a lot better than I was.muthsera666
I agree with you man, I only started playing this game and its probably one of the most challenging I've played in a while. There are some areas of the game where you simply must learn all of the combo's and how to execute them, however I found that you cant execute those combo's unless your fighting an actual opponent (so you cant practice combo's while fighting air ;) ). It would have been nice if there was a dummy opponent that you could have practiced on... or maybe there is and I just don't know where it is yet... It is getting easier to fight because of the different weapons and scrolls that can be picked up. Then again, the opponents are getting a bit tougher too... -hiro

Hey all hows it going? I'm a new xbox360 owner and I'm happy to say that its totally awesome. I had one problem though, it seems that whenever I try to start up the xbox360 , it doesn't really start... The green power light is on and the system makes a small noise indicating that it is on; however nothing shows up on the tv screen, even after I've checked my tv/hdtv setting on the component cable. 'The system eventually does start after about 3 times of trying (ie. turning it off and back on again).' After looking through the forums, searching on google, and reading the owner's manual (very carefully) the only thing that might describe this problem, is that the xbox360 has to be at a certain temperature to operate, but that doesn't seem likely. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. -ryujin

They have probably been suggested already, but I say Valkyrie Profile 2 : Silmeria 'AND' Valkyrie Profile : Lenneth. They have a good implementation of jumping and such, and have a great battle system. I've played over 40 hours of Silmeria (haven't finished it yet... last save point) and I'm still finding new and improved combos to use against foes. Lenneth is also great, I have the psp version, but its just a bit too good to be on such a small screen. Again, the battle system is great, although I wish there was a skip feature for those special attacks like Silmeria has. Although, Nibelung Valesti always looks great! -ryujin

Ace Combat 5 is probably the best I've played in a while. I never get tired of it somehow... Twighlight Princess is another great game that I just cant seem to get tired of either. To me its Zelda defined to its fullest, with a few notable flaws here and there... -ryujin

Yeah, I'd have to agree with most and say that MGS was better than SC. The story is a bit more cohesive and deep in MGS and it focuses more on things happening around the character at that time (mostly) adding in elements of fantasy. In SC, the story shifted to a political sense before every mission it seemed, although it did describe Fisher's character really well. Thus, like one of my friends put it, ' MGS has more of a fantasical mood to it where SC is down to earth and focuses more on realism...' . As far as gameplay, its hard to compete with MGS 'free' gameplay in comparison to SC's linear one. SC was more about trying to find shadows to stay under and lights to shoot out, where MGS was just about hiding as well as you can since soldiers could sense something was wrong even if you were standing underneath a very well darkened shadow. Therefore, and in that sense, MGS presented a much more 'tense' feel than SC and is in my opinion the better of the two series. -ryujin

Hmmm, don't mean to be specific but, some of you have named characters like cloud and squall which were both on 'technically' ps1 games... but whatever I guess you can play ps1 games on the ps2 so yeah... anyways... I'd have to say ; -Mobius 1 or Blaze from the ace combat series (in other words, the player) if that doesn't count then I go with; Snake from Metal Gear Solid 2 -ryujin
