Stay away from xbox 1, they have drm policies that require an internet connection if you downloaded the game

Right now I have NHL 09 from EA sports, and I got to say, I am really frustrated. Easy mode is a total bore, but I just cannot come away with a win in Pro. Between the really hard faceoffs (classic controls anyways), bad AI (my coach pulled my goalie in the 2nd period on a tie game...WTF), and players being too susceptible to momentum (game was 1-1, but we were getting out played and my goalie basically just gave up and let them score 4 in a row in the final period...ouch). And these kinds of things are continually reoccurring. I want a challenge...but after playing with the sliders and getting beat almost every game....this is just not fun.

Anyone know which NHL game is best a casual player like me who only plays the occasional skirmish and when my friend comes over? And dont recommend the 3vs3 arcade game....that thing is trash

Try to find a barcade. Its basically a nickel arcade with beer. So it is 21 and over. They're rare, but if you have one downtown or whatever check it out.

Im all the way on the west coast of USA. it was small, but consistent enough to bother me. I think I uninstalled it like 6 months ago. So I assume everyone has moved on to reaper of souls no problems?

So, for me, the deal breaker with D3 was the lag. It drove me nuts that I can play BF4 with 64 people, no problems, but if I play D3 by myself I lag. I was wondering if anyone that agrees with me has played reaper of souls and if they still experience a small amount of lag or not?

can someone explain how/why RAM speed does not have a big effect on gaming? I know gaming uses quite a bit of RAM, and thus logically, the speed should play a big factor into that. The way I understand PC internals is pretty similar to the diagram in this link (with the exception of the CPU being between....well everything really. Even RAM and HDD):

So I finally have the extra moolah to build a new PC and came to find out they released DDR4!! But after further research there is DDR3 that claims to go up to 2800 mhz. I mean its been a while since I looked into it but this cant be right... Is this stock or overclock speed? I thought (and also according to wikipedia) was 2133 mhz. Because the fastest DDR4 for sale only goes up to 3200.... The is the deciding factor for my build since DDR4 is only supported by intel right now.
