Good luck with that lawyer thing :lol:

I'm sure "I forgot to look on the box" will hold up real nice in court.

What really gets me is here you are whinning about needing an internet connection to play the game...on the internet.

Listen, I loved playing the old Starcraft game. I want to be able to play against the computer where ever I take my laptop. So if you feel like it's "whinning" then maybe you should think about a time when you didn't need to have an internet connection to play games.

Yes, I jumped at the chance of buying StarCraft 2, but only because the memorizes of having so much fun with the first one just wanted to be relived.

[QUOTE="rushisurf"]

I can't believe I fell for this.

I ended up buying Starcraft 2 today and now I can't return it because I've opened the box. I had no idea you had to have an internet connection just to play this game. I'm so use to the first Starcraft that I didn't even look on the box of it saying that. It's got such tiny print I didn't even know.

I think I'm going to try and talk to a lawyer about this because I sure there are more people like me that just got suckered in on this B.S.

A pure disappointment on Blizzard's behalf.

Learn to read what you're buying before buying it. That's like going into a shop and buying a packet of Peanut M&Ms then suing the M&M company because you thought they were just regular ones. You have nobody to blame for this but yourself. Also, you only need an internet connection to activate the game, after that you can play offline as much as you want.

Well, would you like to tell me how you might be playing offline without an internet connection?

Because I've activated the game, yet you still have to log-in just to play the game.

so quick question looking over at the minimum requirements it says broadband internet connection so does that mean you can't play single player offline or can you?

manny020

Yes, you have to have an internet connection to play the single player campaign. I got suckered into buying this game and didn't notice the tiny print on the lower right corner of the box that says, "Internet Connection Required."

This is a new low for Blizzard. I can't believe this at all, I supported everything they did from the very first Warcraft game and now I'm just completely disappointed.
