sup monk

Don't buy it. I heard there was simply no one online. But that could've changed already...

Anyways, It looks pretty crap. Don't waste your time on that one. If you want some games to play in short bursts, here is my top 10 minis list:

A Space Shooter For 2 Bucks
Young Thor
Age Of Zombies
Freekscape: Escape From Hell
Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princes
Who's That Flying
Dracula Undead Awakening
Coconut Dodge
Twin Blades
Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder

Played long long time ago on psx. Maybe the frailest psx game ever. I don't remember bugs or similar, but was enough to breath on the cd surface to make them unusable. Some years ago I played even Lenneth on PSP and I don't recall any major issue.

shindark
hey shin^^, I heard somewhere that the dics were very vulnerable. Also that in theorie the difficulty hard in this game is easier than the difficulty easy cuz in hard you have acces to all equipment

I'm moving away from home for a while, so looking for the best psp games to make up for losing my beloved home console. I like games like Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls, and Fable, huge games with coherent worlds that you enjoy spending lots of time in, and a nice mix of action, exploration, interaction, and story. Obviously the psp is far more limited in what it can achieve. So I guess I'm just looking for the best substitute.

So far I've played both God of Wars, and Killzone Liberation, which were all decent enough. But none of them lasted more than six hours in story mode, and they were all pretty much non-stop action. Resistance Retribution seems a bit more lengthy, but as a shooter it just feels like a huge step backwards in terms of enemy AI and level design, and the setting was pretty drab.

I've also played Crisis Core, and although as an FF7 fan I was motivated to finish the story, the actual gameplay itself was rather tedious and linear, as were the environments and non-speaking characters. Tales of Eternia seemed like a totally bog-standard psone rpg, and I didn't really care for the strategy gameplay of FF Tactics or Dissidia.

Still playing through the first MGS, but I don't like stealth games that much, and again, it's all mission based.

What I really want is an open world rpg with nice environments, a good story, and decent action. But failing that, I'll take any suggestions.

valkyrie profile lenneth. Kinda open world. Maybe Ys seven or ys I and II chronicles? OR Oath in felghana?

I played Lenneth only a few months ago. I don't remember any bugs or glitches. The game ran pretty smoothly. Only glitches were ones that you had to find by doing certain things in battle and such.

So the game's pretty okay to play.

thattotally

ok ^^ just ordered it for 27 dollars (cheap cuz I European).

It was released a year after the USA version. They need to have fixed something right?

Nothing from that era has been retro-fitted with trophies, etc., but seriously, you don't need them, A good game is a good game, and I've found myself "buying back" some of my old favorites and having just as much fun (or MORE) with them the second time around. Especially Crash and Spyro... those games are amazing. I'm playing CTR right now, and I am getting more out of it than I did when I played it originally, because I have better skills now so I'm actually beating things I never could get back when I originally owned them.

If you beat them solidly when you were 8 years old, then yeah you might want to spend your time and money elsewhere... but did you 100% Club those games? If not, spend the $6 and do them proper!

:)

BTW - If you want a great PSX platformer that everyone seemingly missed the first time around, try playing "PANDEMONIUM!" - Flippin' awesome game!

I like the first a lot (i have it on ps1 and downloaded for my psp) BUT the dificulty is pretty tough as you get later in the game. and I HATE the save system. I have Crash warped too, and It's VERY similar to the first, and thats a good thing.

Talldude80
tell me more about the save system pls.
