so i've been looking for a good online shooter, and saw that confrontation isn't that good and socom 4 is $60 so i won't be getting it just yet. i was wondering if any of the socoms for the psp have a) fun/addictive online and b) an active online community. any info on this is much appreciated. if none of these games have that then are there any other recommendations at a reasonable price (though i think most psp games are pretty well priced now)?blueboxdoctor
ftb3 has good online community. some hackers but they will get banned sooner or later. i got a friend and he makes lists of hackers and glitchers and send them to sony so they get banned. he has banned more than 200 people or so. I recommend it.

So im in the Mine and i meet Valengunder or something like that and i have not rescued that Dr. guy ive just been running around and i have a fire wand and ive gave 5 ys books to the priests and i have not beaten the boss. Im lvl 12.

Wolfetan

save the doctor first (but you'll need to find a pick axe first). It's all in the mine. And since you are level 12, you are strong enough already to beat the stone guys in moondaria that guard the chest on the east side of the map (near the god statues).

I got the pick axe but where is the doctor and do you mean Priests by gods or am i missing something?

when you enter the moondaria ruins. Go to the east, follow the path. Then you will see some stone foes guarding a chest. Kill the foes and open the chest. The doctor is somewhere in the beginning of the mine. But after this it is becoming more complicated so you better use a faq. here for example.

Actually, the PSP received much more than ten titles a year in its life span. The PSP has been available to the public since 12/2004 and has a game library of 647 games.

By my calculations, that would indicate the PSP would have released aprox. 92 games per year over it's 7 year lifespan. That is over 9 times more than 10 games a year. It would be about about every 6 weeks that game creators would release 10 PSP titles.

These are very loose translations. there could be less game released at certain rates but, that would also indicate there are times where MANY games where released for the PSP. :D

wakefulness

This is a diabolically intergalatically supreme response. Coolyfett likes it! Its well calculated. And you didnt even count all the PSN exclusives, PS One classics or PSP Minis. Not saying you have to....just saying.

Just went by this list,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_Portable_games

The database for that could always grow. It would probably grow a bit this month as some god games like Patapon 3 will be coming out. Not sure about the other PS1 games playable on the PSP. Those where just PSP titles released for the PSP. I was adressing that statement made by mariokart. :D

there are way more titles.

Both are better than the 1000 and downloadable games last way longer than the UMD copies.

Coolyfett
wrong.

[QUOTE="crrdbest"]

I would go with the PSP 3000. I love my PSP and sure it's a bit noisy but I personally believe that the Go is really uncomfortable to hold. I also think that it's a nuisance that you have to download all of your games onto the Go, while, on the other hand, the PSP 3000 can play UMDs AND download games from the playstation network.

Coolyfett

Imagine being able to get a new game the second it comes out without leaving your bedroom? If Sony would lower the average price to 25 bucks for a new game. They would have the online thing onlock!! Say PSN was to release a new AAA game 12 ET...and you didnt have to go toa store to get it.

That's pure lazyness dude >.> and if the game is 1 GB and up, you'll have to wait like an hour to play it.

after the shrine part, you got to go back to the second city. There go to the very big building on the left with the fortune teller. She will give you a book and will tell you that you need to go to the mine in the north.
