@barcaazul: you want the 1m GMP back? get online, that's konami's way of forcing you to get into it and to get absorbed into the FOB collective

This has to be the first game in history where players get actively punished for refusing to take part in the online activities

@McStrongfast: If they wanted to silence her or anyone supporting her cause they would have done it already, the main purpose of trolling and harassment is control, this is why her situation got out of hand so horribly, those who legit harassed her were looking to get some laughs out of her suffering, they could give two damns about gaming or what she did or did not

I will never condone what happened to her or anyone else, I've been through real life harassment and blackmailing myself, but let's also not kid ourselves into thinking all of this was made to silence her or anyone who has been in her situation, specially not after all the publicity and attention this scandal has created (I mean seriously... She's getting a movie out of all this)

Microtransactions in free games get a pass because it's the only way devs make their money since there's no entry fee to get into the game

Many of us take issue with microtransactions in paid titles because you are paying extra money on top of what you already paid to get the game (in most cases $60), hence why I call it milking

I'm looking at the top 10 right now, CS:GO is the only paid title there with microtransactions

At least now I can feel happy with my decision to not touch this game with a 10 ft pole, not excactly a fan of being milked for all my pennies, all to fund a tournament that will only benefit a select few...

Like I said in the destiny article... Console gamers sure love getting milked
