What made Crysis 1 great was the excitement of the unknown. It was one of the best experiences i've had in a long time. The story just kept me hooked. Remember? The Aliens supposedly were hibernating on the planet before humans were civilized. During their awakening they sent out a communication to some system in the galaxy. They had a huge ice shield that absorbed energy, even a nuclear bomb.

I'll never understand how game makers push all the fans out of the way and ruin the story. As far as i'm concerned Prophet, Pyscho, Nomad and the Scientist chick are still on the Island fighting back somehow LOL....

Its true, the way they are revealing the game to us does not follow the theme of the first X-COM. They have succeeded in enhancing the game in every way. I love the new camera view and all the enhanced graphics and diversity (the base view rocks!).

X-COM originally had a dark feel to it. The music most of all would grab you and keep you looming in focus of the next alien attack and when u would discover what the aliens are up to.

One of the things i loved about the original X-COM was being able to name your squad mates. I could never let ONE of them die, i always saved before each major confrontation.

Any ways, they could of done without the new comical look they've brought. The first X-COM had a more real feel to it. And not to mention the Computer AI for the aliens was flippin amazing. I hope that each of the aliens play out like the first game. Remember when that insect alien would always pop up near your group of guys before you noticed him. Always hated those things.

Thanks for bringing this great game back. Its sad to see that these types of games need to return to show all those idiot game developers how to make a REAL game.

By the way if anybody hasn't heard, Baldurs Gate is coming out again enhanced in September, OH YEAH! :P

Hmmm, beyond all of you and what your saying, what really ruined Crysis 2 was the story. I know, i know, many of you love Crysis 2 so much that you warped your imaginations to somehow link the first game to the second one ( i did to, unfortunately), but in the end, the only thing the first has in common with the second is the familiarity. Nomad and Psycho should of been in this game. Or explained their fates. Changing the entirety of the alien Technology (not to mention lower grade). Why???? There's now way the Aliens would of .... Anyways, im done talking, Frustrating... Later.
