@jedinortd_basic I did the same thing, but if I had the choice, I would have way rathered to just buy one and be able to play all the games on it. Xbox 360 + PS3 + Wii + DSi + 3DS + PSP $300 + $300 + $250 + $200 + $250 + $200 = $1500 If all consoles were equal and I only had to buy one home console and one portable console, I could be spending a lot less on hardware and focus more on games. I don't see whats wrong with wanting that. The only problem is that there would be no unique consoles. They would all have to be the same, which means when it comes down to choosing a console, it would just be whichever company you want to support or which console looks nicer or has a better controller.

PS Home is the best thing ever, but I don't think Nintendo wants to make a game franchise, being Animal Crossing, into a free software for their console users. It would be good but Animal Crossing as a game title makes Nintendo a good amount of money separatelly.
