Problem is—- if they start censoring this stuff, where do they draw the line? It would open up a whole pandoras box. Parents need to watch what the hell their kids are playing with. And parents need to keep guns out of reach of children and mentally ill people. Mature adults enjoy violent videogames around the world. Banning mature adults from having fun doing something they love without hurting anyone, seems like it’s not the answer. Parents need to be responsible. Society needs to harvest individuals with morals, responsibility snd common sense. Governments that act like that is their role are oppresive and sickening.

Honestly, i like it as ways to socialize, something to talk and debate about, give me a rush, research, look forward to, collect... and kill time :)

Music is my #1 thing to love listening to and think about and play. Games give me variety in my life and social circles.

@Random_Matt: yes, some people do. Proof of that is the fact upgrading the 500gb hd is not mandatory.

I personally bought the xbox one for 6 or 7 games that are not avail on ps (forza, gears of war, quantum break and a handful of others).

Ps4 has a ton more exclusive games than the xbox one (especially when not considering backwards compatible 360 games) and a more intuitive interface. There are casual gamers who only want to play a few games w/ their friends, though. some of those people may be better suited with xbox, especially if that’s what their friends have.

I just got my xbox in the mail yesterday. Today, i purchased gears of war 4, used and i’ve been installing it since about 6:00

Disc appears to be stuck at 41.13 out of 43.17 while the network download is only about a third of the way downloading it.

Is it possible the disc install is waiting for the network download to catchup before progressing more?

Or do you think it’s a busted disc?

Or does it just hang up toward the end as the network download catches up?

Hi sunrazor,

I was in your situation in december. I decided to go with ps4. I think it ultimately comes down to what games you want. With games like horizon zero dawn, last of us, crash bandicoot, bloodborne and ratchet & clank the ps4 was an easy decision for me.

Still, i really wanted forza horizon 3, so i ordered an xbox one s last week. Yeah, i think it ultimately depends on what types of games and how many games you want to play. But if you're looking for a broader media experience from your console xbox may be a better choice.

For 80% of people, i’d suggest ps4 but you may fall within the xbox crowd, depending what types of games you play. If you’re into racing or only want a handful of games, consider the xbox.

I was originally not very tempted to get both but there are 7 or 8 exclusive xbox games i am interested in, so i went with both. The ps4 will remain my primary console.
