I've got an hour to mess around before my kids get home... I have to do homework....I have to mow the lawn.... You know, I have other things in life, but right now it's game time.
And then "this game requires a 15 gb update." otherwise you will be signed out and have to play offline. I have to be honest here, for me this generation is more about the anticipation of playing good games than it is about actually playing them. Considering we've gone from something like the Atari or the NES that was instantaneous ability to play with no patches up to what we have now, i'm not excited about the future of gaming as I once was. What will it be like for the next generation of gaming when a game is 130 gb and all digital download and updates. I mean come on I want to actually play the game not sit for 45 minutes (usually more) while it updates, I wont even touch the install of a digital game and how long that can take. PS I have about 100 mb down so before you flame me, please consider that one is not up for discussion. In all honesty there are some games that I simply ignore now because once I put them in and see they have a 18 gb update before I can actually play the game, I just take them out and put them back on the shelf and play something else.
