I thought it was okay, people are complaining about too much Kinect but if they didn't show a lot of Kinect people would be complaining how they didn't show enough so it's whatever. I'm hoping Sony's conference will be better at least.

As someone who owns a PS3 and a 360 I would have to say that while the PS3's XMB looks nicer it is not as user friendly as the 360's guide menu. I personally would like to see Sony update the in game menu at the least to be much more user friendly.

You have to calibrate the TV. Look online for a guide on how to if not you might have to get that fixed professionally which isn't cheap.

It would be easier for you to open your xbox, find out which model your DVD drive is and then order the EXACT same one. After that you simply replace the chip from the old DVD drive to the new one and no need for any flashing.

Until you get the new DVD drive you can always try this fix, it's not permanent but it may last a while. Search google for " Xbox 360 Pot Calibration" Basically it tells you how to increase the lasers power. Good luck and well I wouldn't pay $100 to fix it. If you are good with computers you can do this and save a lot. A new DVD drive will cost you 20-30 bucks and this laser power fix is free.

Oh but of course you'd be voiding your warranty if you opened your xbox.

The D-pad is a lot better, whether you have it as a cross or the original disc, it's still better. The thumbsticks are tighter and are less likely to wobble in precise games although at first they were too tight, I had to work them in a little I guess you can say.

The controller looks really nice too, the pictures of it don't do it justice. Though personally if you have a working controller, I wouldn't go out and upgrade to this one. Yeah it's better but not really worth paying for a new controller. If you have the money though yeah do it.

I hope the campaign is good, the MP is KZ2 was fun but the campaign was boring and I feel like that put more into the graphics than the gameplay for that part of the game. Here's hoping for online co-op for KZ3.

It's the heat of the system, it is the plastic expanding and retracting. It's nothing to worry about.
