While there are delete commands used as a specific option in something like an options menu, some DS games require a specific method in order to delete data. Those can usually be found somewhere on the manuals. Some, unfortunately, have no way of deleting data whatsoever. If you don't have the manual, try looking at GameFAQs to see if someone posted the code.
Agree on a lot of you. I am actually new to the PS2, and I'm sure there are quite a few customers that are just getting one now. I don't think it'll die anytime soon at this rate.
