wiiu.com has nothing on it. I'm tempted to agree that it is a squatter, even though the name was registered before there was such a thing as a Wii (or so I read here). I'd love to know how they knew so far in advance. Psychic hotline? Time travel? Illuminati?
LOL. I just finished reading the other article about State of Decay being banned in Australia. Hey Australians, you gotta rise up against your totalitarian government!
If I had a dollar for every game Australia bans for ridiculous reasons... well, maybe a million for each... jeez do the authorities there think their people are children or what? I'm glad I don't live there.
@jts1891 True enough. I don't like their vision, though. It seems to me that their attitude for some time has been: we don't care what you want or think, you'll get what we want to give you.
GameStop praised Microsoft for not putting it out of business, er, the policy reversal. :-) Does the phrase "testament to Microsoft's understanding" strike anyone else as funny? Seems to me that for years now they have had nothing but a lack of understanding. I'm only on PC so I can't say anything about Xbox, but just looking at the evolution of Widows, I'm amazed that MS is the dominant OS on the planet. Must be all the strategic partnering and purchasing up-and-coming competitors.
Key NPCs commit suicide if you stay away from the game too long?! Can't say I find that appealing. I wouldn't want to be so important to virtual people -- hell, not even to real people. Sounds like a Farmville gimmick to keep you coming back.
@silent_riku I see your point and agree to some extent. I think it's still easier to see out from the shadows than into them, especially when there are light sources around. The dimming of peripheral vision makes sense if Garret is looking toward a bright light source, but I don't think it does in uniform darkness. Isn't that how our eyes work?
I agree with Cryio above in that good vision is essential for a thief, so crippling it doesn't make sense.
@punisher1 You didn't appreciate their sense of humor, that's fine. I appreciate sarcasm as humor. I can't agree with your generalization of what gives gamers a bad name, though. One or two people speaking their opinion, especially when asked, does not give an entire class of people a bad name, whether they reply directly or sarcasticly. At most, the reply is a reflection of the individual.
