Quake wars sucked it was boring and had blotchy graphics.

Hi my 360 broke awhile back and I got a new one and im using the same hd, I saw a tutorial in oxm on how to renew the xbox live info so I can play games like geometry wars(which I have bought already) without being online. i lost the magazine months ago does anyone know how to reset or update this information so my old games work while not on xbox live?
