Holy f*ck balls... There is nothing I currently want on the WiiU (which, I suppose, is a sentiment shared by many), but I certainly don't want nintendo to fail.
I was hoping to get a great Zelda game (though I did not on the Wii, so maybe that was doomed to never happen), a great Fire Emblem game, and even a couple RPG's for the system. Now I am beginning to wonder if that will happen (other than there being a Zelda game)
I actually think the opposite way...at least for many consumers. Requiring a constant internet connection (or a connection at all) it still not a realistic requirement for US consumers...let alone around the world.
There are users here that still have to use dial-up. Plus there are many Americans that do not have home internet access. This does not even factor in the global population.
It MIGHT be feasible for the gen. after this coming one...but even then...
If something is already on the disc a consumer purchased, and someone manages to allow access to all info on that purchased disc...well then, my friend, that is a 'you' problem. And, IMO, you are a fool at best and ignorant at worst for placing it on there and not thinking it would get out (quickly).
DLC is fine in most cases IMO, but locked on disc content is something else entirely.
It seems an odd one to remake as the graphics still look good today. I could think of many more zelda games that could use a facelift and new controls before WW
While severely misguided, misinformed, and uneducated IMO, at least they are going about supporting their 'cause' in the right way.
-non violent
-voluntary
-providing an incentive for families to spend time together
You, or I...or even the research might not agree with them, their cause, or the logic behind it. But more 'protests' should be done in this manner as opposed to say something like Westboro
