I had a feeling this would happen after Resident Evil 5. At least Metal Gear is smart enough to just cutscenes as cutscenes and not make us slam buttons like we're playing Marvel vs Capcom. The button mashing events in Resident Evil 5 really turned me off to the series, even though I still managed to like the story and most of the gameplay. I was hoping they'd cut back for part 6, but I guess they did the opposite.

@gamefreak215jd @MOBS Has nothing to do with teasing them. But Bluray obviously works better for games. Us PS3 players are hoping there aren't any compromises made in order to make it playable for 360 players.

@PetJel And you're crazy if you think making grossly exaggerated examples is going to make your argument look compelling. There's a fine line between me thinking we're still going to be using ACOGs and me thinking we're going to have anti-gravity tanks. It took 60 years in your own example to get from group flight to a shuttle. But you're ignoring the complete basics of the technology to build up to a 12-man flight. In other words, the technology to get to the moon took a lot longer than 60 years. We have JUST barely managed to make something float and that's from using magnets (in other words, it's going to take decades just to get floating vehicles over magnetized tracks as a norm). As for lasers, well, I really hope it's not necessary for me to go into weight, portability, power simply, and the method of ejection on such a small instrument. If you're going to argue, use an example that isn't comparing glass/plastic lense optic scope technology with portable laser guns for individual people and hover tanks that don't need a connection to the power grid.

@Spartan_418 @Wasdie If a 12 year old says that two plus two equals four, it doesn't make him wrong just because he's 12.

@PetJel You're crazy if you think in a century we're going to be walking around with personal laser guns and using tanks that float off the ground. They were being realistic for the time.

@Iranazi Yeah. Going to milk it like Call of Duty. Then they'll still use the same thing but put a name over it, the way Call of Duty was recycled by now they call it "Black Ops" and it's a brand new series.

Considering the differences from BF2 to BF3, I'd hate to see how 2142 to 2143 turns out. By all means, please don't. You've already butchered one area, don't do another.

@xlord121 You get used to it. I'm sure he meant "killing bad guys", not just "killing people" in general.

Hey. Look. EA is still trying to become Valve.

Considering how games have been coming out in the last few years, people won't notice much difference. Single-player games selling for $60 and lasting all of two hours. All people want is a good campaign and the option to do it co-op. I don't understand why that's always been such a hard concept.
