The answer is, a big exclusive COD exclusive to X1, or Fifa exclusive to X1 Or if they brought EA. Looks unlikely.

Well they haven't said much so far, they could drop, online subscription on us, which wouldn't be a surprise considering how heavily focused the reveal was on online features. A pre owned game fee like X1 Remember Sony are a company on a huge downwards spiral, they need to make as much as they can from their popular products.

I've been playing next gen for years now on my PC. I'll let you in on what it's about, the graphics are better and more people online. I'll give you time to marvel over that,

Anyway 400£+ is my guess at the cost of the Xbox One. here in the UK. I'll probably spend more than that on a launch bundle though.carlisledavid79

[QUOTE="questiontime23"]A lot of details will come out soon enough that will have the Sony fan boys eating their words. Think about it, a company that is financially screwed, selling their head quarters, market share of all their biggest money makers taking a gigantic hit. They reported profits of 280 million for last year, but that is only after they sold off huge parts of their company including their 1.2 billion dollar NY head quarters, without that sale, it would have read between 700-1.1 billion in losses. On to the point, do you really think they are going to launch the PS4 anything less than $500 if they are not selling at a loss, and if it is below that, do you really think it will be the most reliable or powerful console? Another point to look at is Xbox live, it made Microsoft billions, do you really think Sony could ignore a cash pot so big, especially when their unveiling was focused heavily on network features. The RAM debate is silly, Both systems will use a lot of their 8GB for their OS, the instant play function of the PS4 will eat up a lot, and the always recording feature. The GDDR5 thing is a bit of a round about, GDDR5 is what I'm running in my year old graphics card, so it is not new tech by any means, but when Sony says it will more accessible for developers, but at the same time using unconventional ram ? Both Conferences were not great, neither is a "Next Gen" console, my PC plays games that look better than anything shown so far. The next gen will be just like playing this gen, except resources such as more powerful lighting tools, shadows and after effects will be easier to implement without loss of performance, as GT5 taught us making a game look nice takes years and 70+ million and even the only 1/4 of the cars were the top models. We will see a handful of impressive looking games next gen but they will cost a tonne to make. The one thing we should all take from this Nintendo are actually pretty %&^ed with the Wii U, the only system not to feature x86 architecture, it will die pretty fast, the 3rd party support will make the original Wii look plentiful in 3rd party. Bottom line is, get a gaming PC, then buy the consoles when enough good stuff comes out, I know most of the mind set on here is because mommy could only afford one of the consoles, so now you have to support it to its death, but some of us are adults and should not be arguing over some games consoles. If you have disposable income buy both, if not do well at school and perhaps University then buy both. Typical Lem, when you know Sony has a better console than Microsoft you start taliking about profits and sales.

Sony are not out there to help you get the best gaming experience, they are a company, they are there to make money, and it is something they have not been very good at in the past 8 years. So above any silly discussion like GDDR5 OMGZ, the way the company conducts it's self is paramount.

One site was a top 20 UK gaming site, games designer and programmer were both at an independent in Coventry, and the retail roles include buying for an area of the country management, Had to know my shit for all of that,

I would to see the average age of this board, when the only discussion is responding to trolls or flinging your poo.
