i was using avast pro until i got my new computer which came with 15 month McAfee subscription, i was going to remove it straight away and put Avast back on, but i have to say so far it does a great job for me, low on resources and works well in the background, all and all im very happy...

yeap looks like a decent game, steam have just put it up for pre-purchse at a price of $14.99us and they throw in a free copy of tomb raider legend as well....ive pre-ordered...........cant wait for some co-op with friends

i agree, not only that i have a feeling the game will scale well for less powerful machines, after all min requirements aren't over the top, play it on high settings on your desktop and then lower the serttings for your laptop...enjoy, im really looking forward to this title.

i couldnt get the game to work at all with my GTX260 it just kept crashing, its definitly a problem with the Nvidia cards, i havent been able to find a fix for it, i had tried several different drivers but to no luck, in saying that i also got rid of my old machine so i should give it a try with the AMD cards..........good luck

if you are looking for the best in notebook gaming then id look at these machines.....but be warned you are going to be looking at $2000-3000+

alienware M17x (currently one of the two most powerful notebooks around with Crossfirex HD5870 and i7)

Sager NP8850 ( with the GTX480m and i7)

Sager NP8120 (the other most powerful notebook around with CFX HD5870m and i7)

but if you want a machine with good gaming look for some of the asus and MSI brands around they are still very good machine for much lower prices.

The manual is hefty coming in at 25mbs but it should be a good read and naturally you will need adobe reader. This is legit and not in anyway anything to do with piracy it is just the manual and it has been released to give people a chance to read through it before the game comes out.

Has anyone else experienced really bad frame rate in arma2 when they in theory shouldnt due to there rig? My rig is in sig. Im getting when im on very high/ high at most 25 fps with aa disabled playing 1020x1080 but feel i should be getting a bit better performance . I know its not the most simple game to run but most people seem to average the 35-40 mark atleast. So anyone else? Or anyone know why
