@knifebeater: Toslink is pure light, so it makes since, better latency. I use real glass Toslink cable too, so it would be a shame to not be able to use it.

It must have a Toslink port, for my Creative Sound Blaster X7 with Muses 01s and OPA627s op-amps. I know that the PS4 Slim removed the port. The PS4 Pro has one, but there is chance they will remove it, because it is a old standard. Hoping for lossless HDMI Creative Sound Blaster X7 2 for lossless sound.
